Anyone else grow this plant? I've had one for around couple of years. About a year ago a dog knocked it over and broke off/bent about half the leaves. Cut them back to the "base" of the bulb or thereabouts and it came back just fine. Any idea what might happen if I just cut the whole thing back to the same place. It didn't get enough light this winter and got leggy. I want a fresh start.

I think the only way you could kill it would be to put it in the freezer. A lot of people in cold, dark winter climates severely underwater succulents in winter to keep them from growing leggy.

This plant is just about indestructable and it grows its self very fast.

Water a lot less in winter, and go ahead and chop it! Done, and thank you ES and Jean for the tips! :bowing
