I love this color, had to keep it inside, last time I had a bloom outside this color, a catapillar ate the bloom. Anyone have one of these?

You live in Sweden? Hows the weather over there. I was statioef in Germany in 1970-71. In U.S.army in Augsburg. Guess thats a good many miles from you though.

The weather here is pending between 1-9 celsius.

Im quite new to the orchid hobby, my list of orchids currently consists of:

- Dendrobium Aphyllum
- Dendrobium convolutum
- Phalaenopsis Surf song
- Phalaenopsis Asian coral
- Phalaenopsis pallens
- Phalaenopsis Violacea
- Phalaenopsis Amboiensis x zebrina
- Bulbophyllum Bicolor

Then i have these orchids in transit to me:
- Dendrobium cuthbertsonii
- Dendrobium Lawesii Bicolor
- Phalaenopsis princess kaiulani.

Wow! This is stunning! I definitely need more yellows and oranges in my collection!

Thanks to you both, thats a nice starter collection youve got going there. And to Frannington Bear, if you got one of these I dont think you would be disappointed.Every day the blooms get more beautiful. Course you know the color is my favorite

My very first car when I was 17, was a canary yellow, Austin Healey Sprite(1962) wish I’d never sold it but it was a bit small.

Is that a Phalaenopsis?

Pretty sure it is but it didn’t have any name on it.
I did notice that out of fifty or so plants they had only about three were that color.

Are you sure this one isn't artificially painted? Blue Phal don't exist as far as I'm aware off.
