How do I make my epidendrum orchid leaves plump
I have some plants with really plump thick leaves and some really thin and bendy. is there anything I can do to make it consistent |

Are you are talking about 'reed stem' Epis?
And if so, hybrids, species or both? Hybrids tend to be stockier than species. It could also be a question of 2N (normal) vs 4N (tetraploid). |

I can show you photos of them
They are reed streamed epid some in the photo have thick not soft leaves and some have thin soft leaves. there's one that I repoted and it has thick leaves with one stream while i have a whole pot with soft leaves |
That's their nature, depending on their ancestors.

Thank you for your comment but with one plant some streams that are around the same age. One is soft and bendy and the other is thick and plump

“Soft and bendy” suggests it is not taking up enough water. That can be due to you not providing enough or because the root system is compromised and unable to take it up.
Sounds like it’s time to unpot that one and check. |
