Please help me ID this, so I can get it properly labeled.
This is the first it's bloomed in several years. Any advice on how to improve its care?

It looks like a Brassavola nodosa hybrid, possibly Maikai. Treat it like any Cattleya.

And how best to treat a Cattleya? I've been mostly a lowly Phalaenopsis person, and am very open to any care advice.
There is one Cattleya in the Greenhouse, but it seems to do pretty well on autopilot--bright light, coarse bark, weekly water, weekly fertilizer, haven't repotted in several years. It bloomed nicely this year.

Wow that cattleya looks just like C. eldorado 'mt ito' (its probably a Guarianthe hybrid but its uncanny!). Sounds like your culture is pretty good, but there is a ton info on general cattleya care.Treat the nodosa hybrid just like that one!

Based on the photos you should ignore us and carry on what you're doing.

Getting the right ID is near impossible with out an original tag. There are so many hybrid var. now days that it is just a guessing game. We have a few that look similar but not exactly. Picture 1 is very similar to yours but the pedals are wider. NoID on it, but does bloom at this time of the year. Picture 2 is Bc. Punakea ‘Lee’ looks like a darker version. It bloomed back in November. And picture number 3 another similar hybrid. NoID on it either, bloomed back in September. These all have some genetic similarities in their background. And these will have slight differences in colors from year to year depending on the climate that year. We have about 60 cattleyas and 3 are similar to yours. There are 1000s of hybrids out there that are similar to yours. It’s the needle in the hay stack sinario. We wish you luck in your journey to find a ID for it, but you may just need to give it a nickname and call it that.

I'm happy with just a family name ("Brassavola nodosa hybrid"), I know it's about impossible to get any more specific. Same for the Cattleya.
This helps a lot in figuring out how to care for it.
Thanks, E.S. for the kind words. This has mainly been blind luck and having a plant suitable for the greenhouse conditions (Which I have almost no control over!)
