Masdevallia gutattum with multiple blooms one spike
 

I was very surprised to see additional growth beyond the first bloom. All my other Masdevallias are single bloom and done. I'm fairly new to these Orchids, but had never seen a Masdevallia plant with multiple blooms on a single spike. An internet search this morning revealed it is common in some species. I will post more photos as they develop.
