Although I've had a long-standing interest in plants, I've only recently decided to tackle orchids. Currently I have just ten orchids, half of which are "Big Box" Phalaenopsis. Of the others, my Vanda is my pride and joy, with a big and unexpected rebloom after a tough winter (I added a pic of the rebloom, hope it shows!). Both professionally (I'm a biologist) and personally, I'm especially interested in oddities, and I'm looking forward to exploring orchids with weird flowers, miniatures, and extravagant epiphytes.

Thanks, Ray! I'm from Statesboro, about an hour inland from Savannah.

Hello and welcome!

Andy's orchids is a great place to find really interesting orchids. Hausermann's has a variety of neat orchids, too, if you look at the miniature, mounted and species sections.
