Terrarium for Phalaenopsis
2 Attachment(s)
Hi, I have a little diy terrarium with a few miniature orchids and that works well for me. I have 2 mini phalaenopsis in there as well hanging upside down and doing well.
Now I would like to put all my phalaenopsis, around 10 plants, some big, in a similar setup. What would you recommend : - leave them in pots, put them on shelves or hangers and take them out one by one to be watered. - remove them from pots and try to mount them so leaves point down and add a sprinkler on top. - anything else I should keep in mind regarding this particular setup? Pictures attached of some of the phals and of my miniature orchids terrarium as an example. Attachment 167444 Attachment 167445 |
Both methods work. It depends on how much time you have for watering. You could also leave them in pots and have an automatic watering system.

I would remove pots, mount, and use automatic misters. The thought of having to water individually in a terrarium makes me shudder.
