Pictures of Vanda Oriental Beauty?
 

Hey gang!

Been browsing around the web looking at interesting Vanda hybrids that I don't see on the market a lot, one being Vanda Oriental Beauty (Neo. falcata x Vanda Rothschildiana). I learned Vanda Rothschildiana is one of the most influential hybrids in "big dish" flower Vanda breeding, so it was interesting to find someone crossed it with Neo. falcata.

OrchidRoots doesn't have any pictures, so it would seem.

If you search "vanda oriental beauty" in your browser of choice to try and find some yourself, you will have to sift through a lot of pictures of Asian women. Nothing lewd though. While kinda funny, it definitely doesn't make things easy.

I didn’t have any trouble finding it at all. Try searching for: Vanda ‘Oriental Beauty’

Huh, weird. I see other grexes that have "Beauty" in their name, but not "Oriental Beauty".

Found it right away in OrchidRoots . Just put in the name as Vanda Oriental Beauty (no quotes) and it came right up.

Yea that's what I tried first and found it odd that were no pictures of the grex itself.

They get their photos from people who choose to contribute, so they need a volunteer...There is no global repository of photos of every possible grex. AOS has them if it gets awarded, sometimes from contributions. Orchidwiz got them from volunteers. When RHS registers a grex, they ask for a photo, but they don't get 100% either. So the pedigree is recorded by RHS if a grex is registered, but that's the extent of it.

Maybe it didn't turn out that great... sometimes that happens where something seems like a good idea but then disappoints, which would reduce the inspiration to show it off.
