Your experience with Laelia speciosa?
 

Hello Orchid Lovers:
I'm contemplating buying Laelia speciosa. What are your experiences if you are keeping one in 'captivity?'
I currently keep L. anceps (close to 20 years now), L. autumnalis, and other cool growers. (40F low in winter)
I have a small plant that was labeled L speciosa when I purchased it at a show (from a 'reliable' vendor) 5 years ago. It took 4 years to bloom. It's cute, but is definitely not L. speciosa.

I believe the habitat is the same, except for the altitude (anceps - 500 to 1500 m / speciosa - 1500 to 2500 m).
This means it grows a lot cooler. All the rest I think it's the same as anceps.
