its grown under 50% shade cloth outside. Aluminet particularly bec its keep some the heat off them.
watered when its dry. if its hot and it dries out everyday do water them. its in medium bark perlite and charcoal. Repotted once from SVO. The roots dont like being bothered. Others do well mounted. got a little pre view here :), and thanks its beautiful indeed. https://orchidroots.com/static/media.../IMG_60701.JPG https://photos.smugmug.com/SVO-mini-...%5B1%5D-X2.jpg  thanks for looking and happy growing!!! |
That's a great-looking flower. And good to know about its dislike for being repotted.

Cattleya aclandiae 'Gulfglade' AM/AOS x 'Verde' AM/AOS
nice parents help :) ‘Gulfglade’ is still one the largest awarded flowers at 10.5 cm natural spread, and ‘Verde’ has the excellent shape with a very flat lip and petals. if you are familiar with the scent, your imagination can almost pull it out of the air with just the picture. it's that memorable. |
Beautiful aclandiae with that flat spade lip!
