UK vendor recommendations please
 

Do any other UK based enthusiasts have vendor recommendations please?

I have purchased a couple of more unusual (in the UK at least) specimens from eBay seller Spicesotic plants (always arriving in quickly, as described and in good health) but I haven’t managed to locate any other good online or in-store Orchid specialists.

Also, look up the Writhlington School project, and the grower who ran that for many years has since 'retired' (lol) and setup their own nursery 'Isle of Portland' orchids.

Spicesotics probably has the greatest selection, but generally it's not been easy since Brexit!

I watch a YouTube channel from the UK and he has a few plants from Burnhams Nursery. The Mathers Foundation runs Open days, not sure if they sell at all these Open days but you would definitely see other orchid growers there and could find other nurseries that do online sales.
If you join a club they would probably have shows and trade table.

Elite orchids are good, albeit expensive. Spicesotic are awful if you complain then they are aggressive and will always blame the customer.

You could try laurence hobbs orchids.
He is a seller that has recently imported stock from Fred Clarke's at SVO so should have some of his new hybrids for sale over in the UK.
