Orchid Board - Most Complete Orchid Forum on the web ! - Phalenopsis difformis culture requirements

Hi to all,

a couple of years ago I stumbled upon a small Phalenopsis difformis.

I couldn't find much information on how to cultivate it online, or on this forum, so I tried -without luck - to grow it with my warmer growing phals and it didn't survive the summer (even though temperature rarely goes above 35°C in the cabinet).

Last September I was lucky enough to find another, bigger one by the same vendor (he said it wasn't me, they are just quite problematic) and this time I'm keeping it with the cooler phals. So long ok.

Anyone here has ever grown this species or has any advice? I really want to try my best with this quirky one
