They'll be out most of the winter, but - light?

I'm in Zone 9B and most of those pesky phala-whatsis will spend most of the winter out under shade cloth:)
Of course as the need arises, they will be ferried inside so their little roots don't turn blue. (And the leaves turn funny colors)
As this is the first year in their new spot, I've come to realize there is a LOT of shade in the afternoon, from about three o'clock on.

My first thought was to provide supplemental lighting, although outdoor Grow lights don't seem to be offered anywhere.
Greenhouse fixtures are really out of the question, due to the expense and I'm not really certain they are as waterproof as I would need. Most irrigation is provided below the lamps, and what rain fall that will occur will be above the electrical fixtures.

I am looking at a set of the Barrina Gro lamps due to their price point and wondered if anyone here has toyed with this kind of setup.
Thanks in advance, for your thoughts and sugestions,
mykl

I wouldn't bother with lights.
I'm all under 60-80% shade cloth in 10B and all my bright light plants do just fine.

In fact, most of my collection is winter-spring bloomers except the vandas which bloom off and on year-round.

Where are you? It makes a difference whether you live in a desert or a redwood forest.

Phalaenopsis should not go below about 65 deg F, so they need to spend the rest of the fall and winter and early spring inside. They are low-light plants, so a window with filtered or indirect light would be good,.

I’m in 9a/b territory and my phals are inside all year by a south facing window with a sheer curtain to diffuse the light. I put a couple outside over the summer but they came back inside a few weeks ago. It’s regularly dropping down into the 50s overnight and that’s too cold for them to be happy.
