Just picked this one up, in bloom and bud, at Paulino Gardens in Denver!

Stima. Kelly 'Lea'
(B. Nodosa x Ctna. Keith Roth)

I sure do like it. It's a little different and has really pretty art hues.

Yah.... good thing you're expecting a bijillion new pots from Erin Pottery ;)

I love this little flower. Nice choice Gwen

I like the sucky pot .. I never heard of a sucky pot before .. is that the craftman's name ? .. :coverlaugh:
Cute little hybrid ... is it fragrant? ( I think it would with b. nodosa in it :hmm )
Will it stay that small ?

gmdiaz 05-04-2008 02:15 PM

Well, I liked the sucky pot too, that is until I saw my other options!

You know, I thought there would be a nice fragrance too but so far nothing of note. . .maybe it will start up later.

I think it will stay pretty small, maybe just grow into a larger clump. Wouldn't that be pretty all in bloom?

You folks are too engrossed in pots for your own good. I'm saying dump the pots and buy more orchids   (Turn on the "enable" switch). If you get enough orchids to cover the bench you won't see the pots anyways. I think I'll do a post to this effect. :scratchhead:

B. nodosa scents at night so check it when the sun goes down ..
It will look real cool if it grows into a massive clump and stays relatively small ..
I look forward to the photos when all those flowers bloom!

I agree!!! I clump my plants together, and you can't even see the green/ clear pots!!!
I have only three "display" pots that I place the plastic pot into when I have an orchid I want to show off.

Besides, you can get 2 orchids for the price of an orchid and a new pot:evil:  :blushing:
