Casetetum leaves appearing shredded and discolored

So I am not sure of the proper name for this plant. I think it is a Casetetum, though it says Clo. Amazing Grace.

I will attach pics including the marker/tag (not sure what the little plastic tags are called. Would someone enlighten me? X3)

Anyway, as you will see, some of the leaves are appearing shredded and discolored.

This is happening with a few Orchids

Is this natural, or is it a problem?

Do they simply need to be repotted?

:thanx:

That one is a Clowesetum (Clowesia x Catasetum). Leaves likely have been munched a bit (thin leaved plants are vulnerable), spider mites are especially likely to be culprits for the speckles, etc. This time of year, pretty normal for Catasetinae. If you suspect spidermites you could spray (especially undersides of leaves), Mostly to keep them out of other plants. But the Catasetinae are just thinking "autumn" ... some leaves start to get ratty ahead of dormancy. Those leaves are going to be gone in a couple of months. You certainly don't want to be even thinking about repotting them now. (If they're outgrowing pots, the time is during dormancy in the winter) . One of the lovely things about Catasetinae is that they reinvent themselves every year - new growth brings new leaves, the old leaves are long gone.
