phal bellina alba
1 Attachment(s)
Phal bellina alba, second year blooming, this time on some quality fresh sphagnum moss. I removed the little net pot with florikan fertilizer as it turns out moss retains fertilizer enough to burn/damage roots, seems happy with a anew start and 2 spikes, fragrant as all bellinas are and it always makes me smile.
BTW, I have tried all ways possible to get pics to show upright but short of posting pics on online site and setting up link to it I only occasionally get a pic to sit upright. Very frustrating and I hardly post anymore pics because of it. Too bad it does not look like there a resolution in the works that I know of. |
I don't think it's possible to post photos to OB with proper rotation from a phone. Would you consider posting from a desktop of laptop? If so, which operating system do you use? I might be able to walk you through it.

nice flowers :)

Lovely! It’s interesting, I have a Phal violatia “pink” that has as very similar flower.
I don’t know what phone you have, but on an iPhone if I edit in any way in the photos “edit” feature it will post correctly. Alternatively I can transfer to my computer snd edit and these also post correctly. |
That is pretty!

nice! speaking of similar plants, we have a couple labeled tetraspis green that have coloration nearly identical to those. the petals on ours have a slightly different shape and the lips of ours are super hairy.
otherwise, nice growing! on the pic thing, the easiest thing we found was to edit the pic on the comp or in the phone, and rotate it literally one degree. then save that copy and upload it to ob. it will post just fine then. something about edited photos that it will show them the way they are... |
