My only Phrag...

...has let me know I need more of them :blushing:

Phrag Eileen Rickman.

Bought last year at an orchid meeting. One previously bloomed plant and one new growth. This year has given me 2 new growths and the bonus is .....its going to give me a flower on the old one. I just know it :)

phrags are a breath of fresh air to someone who has had no luck with other orchids, that's for sure. I am having so much better orchid health after taking a risk and starting all paphs and phrags in semi-hydro. My only bad grower is Kovachii. I really need to learn the difference between Kovachii and the rest of the phrags. I don't know what it is. My 2 biggest suggestions is to use RO water unless you have very low mineral water, and also brighter than normal indoor light. They are really outdoors plants who get stuck inside by us silly humans, and they like lots of light.
