Spotted Catt

Thus is my first Catt
Got it maybe 7 or 8 years ago and it has been a reliable bloomer twice a year.
Enjoy!

That's beautiful! Do you have the name or is it a NOID? I'm guessing it's quite fragrant given several of the species in its background.

It's a NOID and it's fragrant as you mentioned.

When an orchid is as nice as that one, who cares if it has a name? :)

But this plant is full of surprises... as the blooms age, the spots seem to burst and the flower changes completely.
Here's a photo from previous blooms...

Whoa thats intetesting! I know that colors often change with age but thats dramatic!

Wish I could see that in time lapse!

Ps. Looks like Cattleya Benin

Wow, that is an intense change! It looks an awful lot like amethystoglossa but definitely a hybrid - so you get a huge win for ease of cultivation and bloom power! Thanks for sharing.
