Phalaenopsis gigantea

About 3 years in the making, from a decent-sized seedlings to a young adult.
I didn't measure scientifically, but the biggest leaf is about 30cm, or roughly 2 bananas.

"Moody" pictures because I'm clueless with cameras but it turned out pretty decent  can't count on the sun for good natural light these days.

So great to see your gigantea in bloom!

It's beautiful

That's beautiful!! Do you know how long lived the blooms tend to be?

Mr.Fakename 12-17-2022 12:28 PM

Thank you thank you!

Camille, flowers last about 3 weeks. They opened in "quick" succession, about 2 weeks from the first to the last.

A few buds stalled when temperatures suddenly dropped, but they seem still alive. I'm hoping for a second flush of blooms in spring/early summer.
