How long can Cattleya seed remain in the Calcium Hypochlorite?

Hello: I am trying to follow Fred J. Berman's July 2006 article in Orchids magazine for flasking orchid seeds. He suggests using Calcium Hypochlorite as a seed disinfectant. My question is, how long should I or can I leave the seeds in the disinfecting solution and still have viable seeds? Thank you.

Sorry about the typo. I meant Fred J Bergman.

You should YouTube ThePlantPropagator. He does flasking using hypochlorite and if I remember correctly he leaves the green pod in about 20-30 min. As for dry seeds, I think he does 5-10.

Thank you very much for the suggestion.
