Vanda refuse to flower
 

I have this beautiful hybrid Vanda that don't bloom again. It has been 2 years since the 1st and only flowering time.

I am positive the light is correct and fertilizer. Now in summer, I watered 2 times a day. My other Vandas are very consistent in blooming.

I tried to move it around to see if could handle a bit more sun since new leaves keep comin; but I end up burning some leaves as you can see in the pic. Growing actively is in a safe place, roots and leaves eveloping well but no flowers at all.

It looks to be a rather dark green, suggesting insufficient light, but you can’t just move plants into higher light without some sort of transition phase, allowing them to adjust.

Back when I lived in PA, I had a good number of strap-leaved vandas, and they were up high in the greenhouse, with no shade cloth.

I try yo move it slowly but it seemsthat the place was still too summy for it .. I'try again somewhere else.

Here in NJ (latitude about 40 deg N), I keep them indoors till the end of May.
Then, when night time temps are high enough (> 55F = 13C), they go outside under shade cloth for about 8 days.
Then I remove the shade cloth = full sun, but I let a sprinkler run 15-20 min every 6 hours (9 AM, 3 PM, 9 PM & 3 AM). With this regimen, I get minimal sunburn, but optimum growth & blooming.

the leaves are closing and that indicates the plant is trying to reduce moisture loss and that it is not getting enough water, the best way to water vandas is with a misting system on a timer possibly several times a day IF you are in a very dry climate. In florida's very humid climate I watered twice each morning with 15 minutes misting each time and 15 minutes apart and leaves were opened flat.
your plants older leaves are too dark for vanda to bloom, new leaves are lighter and correct shade of medium olive green. Look at the first picture and two new leaves are good shade of green as compared to older much darker leaves.
possibly the change was too abrupt and caused burn. Changes in light exposure should be done gradually
