Lycaste aromatica root hairs

I've had this plant for a month, and noticed these new roots while rearranging things yesterday. Are root hairs a common occurance in some genera? I also noticed, to a lesser extent, on a Masdevallia hybrid and Stanhopea embreei

I switched over to a multi bottle line of liquid organics called Nectar for the Gods, in early March. Kelpmax, Quantum, SLF-100 (another probiotic type product), and a brewed compost tea are also being used.

When I use probiotics on my terrestrial plants especially the ones with bacillus sp. , I always get crazy root hair formation. My paphiopedilum roots look and feel like thick fuzz and I regularly use plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. I wouldn't be surprised if that is what you are seeing here.

Thank you, I didn't notice on any plants I've seen at greenhouses etc, and assumed thats what it was.
