Cypripedium acaule in the Bog

I've been waiting 3 years for this. I collected a couple of small C. acaule with permission from a neighbor's property 3 years ago. The first two seasons I grew them in a large container, and last fall I moved this one to a high spot in the bog. First bloom for this plant:

I have access to plenty of wild plants that are coming into bloom. I intend to cross pollinate a bunch of those and this one while I'm at it.

That's impressive you pulled that off.
Their roots are so shallow and rambling it's almost impossible to get them out and not severely damage them.
