Unhappy Bulb. Supat Sun Radiant

This large Bulbo has stayed alive but appears unhappy. One leaf has darkened as picture shows. I am keeping the moss consistently moist not wet, and it gets no more than one hr of indirect sun a day. What should I do to help it perk up?

Bulbos like being soggy wet.

Hi. I keep mine in plastic pots and well watered. For me, sphagnum moss makes up most, sometimes all, of the medium. Many are shallow rooted and do better in shallow pots, usually called bulb pots.

The dark leaf looks like maybe it got sunburned. But the plant looks quite dehydrated. I totally agree with the other suggestions - it needs to be WET, not "moist". I quote the Bill Thoms presentation that I put a link to in another post. " "More Water Longer" . He repeats that mantra multiple times in the presentation... and he is one of the top Bulbo growers in the US.

Thanks will definitely water more. Should I cut off the black leaf?

I don't see the need. Half of it is still green and helping the plant. If the plant wants to shed it, then let nature take its course. On general principles, let it be. If it's a sphag-bark mix, it might be happier in pure sphag. Again, to let it stay wetter. AS I recall from Bill Thoms' talk, he put rambling Bulbos like that in shallow trays with sphagnum
