Epidendrum ibaguense new stems problem
 

Hi guys, I hope you can help. We have an epidendrum ibaguense, it grows new stems but they dont look healthy. The first leaves are brown and dry, the newer leaves are green but brown spotty.
The humidity is about 50%, temperature is between 18-22 celsius.
It is in the window, but not directly in the sun and is close to the radiator.
What do you think?

How old is the plant?

It could be lack of water or hot dry air close to the radiator.

Once the weather gets a bit warmer, it would probably benefit from growing outdoors if you can do that. I have found that plants that can tolerate outdoor temperatures (and this species will do fine once outdoor overnight temperatures get above about 11-12 deg C) benefit from natural light and air movement (and most of the time, better humidity - even if days are relatively dry, the humidity goes up at night)

Now that I look at the photos on a computer monitor rather than a phone, I think my previous assessment was correct. But there are areas of leaves out of focus that might have scale insects on them. Can you take photos of the leaves in more light, with better focus?

Thanks for the answers so far. Then the first thing might be we try to find a better place for it or see what happens if it get a little more water.
