C. Dubiosa (1890) = trianae x loddigesii
2 Attachment(s)
A couple of years ago Fred Clarke (SVO) offered a remake of this classic hybrid, using exceptional parents:
C. trianae 'Cashens' FCC/AOS x C. loddigesii 'Tamiami Thunder' AM/AOS The original RHS registration shows (harrisoniana x trianae), so technically these plants are the reciprocal cross - not to mention the harrisoniana/loddigesii debate. I have now bloomed two of them. Both with flowers that are 5" to 5.1/4" across. One has a 'normal' lip, while the other looks more like the loddigesii lip. |
That's really nice! Seems to have gotten the best of both parents. Hopefully you're able to get these judged.

They both look great! I like the first set of blooms in particular.

Beautiful! Those light colors make me fall in love.

Those are stunning. You’re making me seriously reconsider my decision to not grow cats. Lol
