Wow! Did you screw up or what!?!?

That rhynchorides is obviously in a psychopsis pot!

Nice growing!

They are very nice! What are the humidity levels like in your house?

Well done!

Ha! It is pretty funny. I really don't know how a psychopsis would even do in a hanging pot. I have one in spike in the same room. I imagine that long spike hitting against the ceiling in a hanging pot.

Maybe it'll tie the room together when it blooms? There is the pyschopsis flower and over here are psychopsis shaped holes in a Vanda type pot.

[QUOTE= What are the humidity levels like in your house?[/QUOTE]

If my cheap thermometer/hygrometer is to be believed it fluctuates wildly over the course of the day and night from upper 40s% to upper 60s. I open the windows to air the house out every day and this lowers the humidity and temperature rather drastically. I move the orchids off the window sill when I do that so the temperature shock doesn't harm them (it'll go from 23 to 9 degrees in a minute).

Thanks! I like your Rhrds. Bangkok Sunset and might be getting space for some windowsill orchids soon, so wanted to know if I could make that one work. Of course I'm still wildly jealous of your Mini Mark ;)

Ok, literally right after I typed that I decided to see if I could find the Mini Mark, and Big Leaf Orchids has them in stock again, so I have officially made my most expensive orchid purchase ever... I bought a small blooming sized one, but they also had one with a double spike available.

I hope you'll enjoy it PlumCrazy! I ran into a bit of a problem with mine when one of the spikes was touching the window overnight. It is cold and snowy outside and the mini mark didn't like it and 2 terminal buds on one of the spikes blasted. Oops. Still, it is doing well despite my abuse. Here it is right at this moment.

Nice display. Great to see the Bangkok Sunset can grow and bloom indoors if required.
I've just bought a Rhrds. Bangkok Sunset, along with a couple of Vandas and a much desired Rhy. coelestis 'Blue'

Wow! Still looks amazing!!
