How beautiful! I wish I was there.

I was there, judging. Thanks for the pics, they bring back happy memories of giving all those ribbons. There were 17 exhibits, mostly table-top, and many, many spring bloomers. There were two or three AOS quality awards as well. Judging began around 7 pm with the ribbons, and then the AOS judging took us to about 10 pm. I then drove back to Houston from Austin and rolled in at 1 am, tired but satisfied. My only regret is that we had no time to do any real 'shopping' from the fine vendors.

COOL
I clerked for that show and one of my orchids (I entered for the first time) got a red ribbon:biggrin: !! Robert's terrariums were the stars of the show! Thanks for posting.

Thanks for sharing these pictures. I enjoyed them very much.
I always enjoy looking at orchids but the Heart of Texas show is near and dear to my heart. My best friend puts many hours into making this a great show!!! Great work, Geoff!!! |
We need to get Geoff active on OB!! Did you get to visit with him while he was at SWROGA show? I wanted to go with, but I was sick with the spring gunk and sick at heart that I couldn't go!! Geoff did do an excellent job with the HOTOS show. I know he and the show crew worked their tails off. It paid off!
