Third Walkeriana of the Season 'SVO Whopper'

Flower is not quite fully open, and slightly translucent. This is from a two bulb division that produced two buds on one stalk. C. walkeriana two bulb divisions seems to do far better that two bulb divisions of other cattleyas. A walker I bought this summer developed a new bulb that was bigger than the original two.

It reminds me of a vanda Vanda Chulee Classic "Blue".

Sounds like a good hybrid.

Yup. I was writing two posts. One for the third flowering of a Vanda and one for the third walker to bloom in the season. When I went to put the photos in I mixed them up. The vanda post now resides here: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...tml#post976085
