I’ve had a poor go at this plant and only been able to get 2 smaller growths from it over the last year. I decided to change up the media from smaller bark to coir husk/chunk and scoria and it decided to bloom a few months after the change. Not sure if correlation is causation but hoping the change to the more open media and better drainage will also promote better growth. Can’t get a reading on the fragrance yet as the ctsm in the tent is pretty overpowering of everything else. Either way, really happy with these few, petite and beautiful flowers.

The distribution of the dark markings along the tepals is very nice. Nice colours and shapes too!

Yours is still a young plant, with a first bloom.

Mature plants have PBs about 3 times taller. When it gets there, you will get more flowers on each inflorescence.

That's just a real beauty Dorchids...I love it.

i just acquired this guy from ecuagenera and i am even more excited now- how hot does it get in your grow zone?

also, what is a tepal, SP? is that another term for petal or sepal?

The tent ranges from mid 70s to low 80s. I’m sure it’ll grow like a weed in your care!
