Phal Salu Peoker

The sun lit this up so nicely that it was a pleasure enjoying my morning cup of brew with this smiling back at me...the real joy is that it flowered from a plant that has crown rot....I'm hoping it will grow a basal keiki this year.....

That is really stunning! Hope you get a new growth, too.

I have a Salu Peoker also, but mine isn't as pretty as yours. I love the dark color of yours.

Simply lovely Doc! Great growing! :)

Brilliant colour, Doc! Nice going! I hope you can save the plant. :)

Well Doc, now you've gone and done it. Just as my list was getting a couple of plants smaller you went and added another one! That would make a centerpiece for a dinner party let alone a cup of java.

Well Doc, you can be proud of me, I had a chance to buy this yesterday, almost like yours only a bit more red with yellow dots in the bottom sepals. However, with 4 new phals arriving this week, I closed my eyes, held my breath and walked away. Good thing the G H I found it at is a 2 hour drive away or I would go back today and get it after looking at your pic again.

WOW, Al what will power!!!!! Don't know that I could do the same. Although with phals I've kind of slowed down because I'm trying different things...but they still have a place in my heart...like you. Sure you can't make some room? I'm giving away some of my phals that "look" the same or are very similar because I want more room in the GH....come on I know you have more room....well maybe the next trip :-)

Well Doc, it probably help to walk away when I stop and think that I have somewhere in range of 75 phals. now, that was at last count and I know there have been more come in and, as I said, 4 more arriving this week. The phals. in addition to 25+ catt's. various oncs., milts., cyms, and more 'odds and ends' all on window sills, stands and make-shift shelves. I have to stop or at least slow down. I will be able to get many of them outside this summer and I have an 8' x 8' summer green house that will help but fall and winter come all to soon here!
