Leptotes tenuis
2 Attachment(s)
I've had this one for about six months. It came mounted on treefern and I've kept it that way. I've got a few other leptotes species that also are mounted on treefern and they seem to like it so I'll keep them that way until I change my mind for some reason.
Anyway, I wanted to ask if somebody could confirm if this really is a tenuis. It doesn't look like the other species that I have, but is a little bit different from other sources I've seen online. I've seen the flowers more yellowish than mine, but maybe it will come with time. |
Very nice shape and sparkles too.

It seems possible that there could be some color variations:
From Wikipedia "Leptotes tenuis is the only Leptotes species with pale green, yellowish or white flowers and lilac colored lip. It is a very small and uncommon species from southeastern Brazil" Leptotes (plant - Wikipedia) So green, yellow or white. Does anybody know for sure? Anybody else growing this? |

White (and not yellow, nor green) is the final color of this one. For a while I thought it would get more yellow, but it didn't. Still happy with it.
