Pollen / anther culture
 

I was wondering if anyone had experience with pollen or anther cultures to produce more viable pollen. I have read on anther culture to produce haploids but never viable pollen. I imagine culturing the cells in a nutrient medium could yield growth, but I’m not sure if that would be pollen cells or exclusively haploid meristemic cells.
