Hello from an orchid Newbie!
 

Hello everyone! Just thought I'd drop a note to introduce myself.

You can call me Teapot. I'm a complete newbie to orchid care; I have always loved them and have been a lurker here in the past to look at photos, but never been game enough to care for one (that wasn't artificial!).
I have a few non orchid plants (cacti, lithops, bonsai. etc) that I have been looking after for a little while so I am not completely new to "gardening" as a casual hobbyist. However I recently got given a dendrobium so I thought I would go ahead and join up so I could try and keep it alive! I hope I can succeed. :)
