Almost ready to open now! The flowers of this orchid have been seen before in these threads. Will take pics of the opening ----- hopefully some activity today.

One feature to point out is the diving weight, which has been there for quite a while now ----- balances the pot so nicely, as the bulbs on one side initially caused the pot to easily topple over.

Adding a nice pic of it opening up now. The wind blew some water from a nearby lawn pop-up sprinkler onto the lip/throat area.

Fully opened today! For the bud development stage, the bud was getting full sun in the day time, so the temperature was really quite warm. This probably had the result of reduced levels of pinky red colour in the lip. And also had the result of no bits of pinky colour on the tips of the petals. So this time - full green petals with no tiny traces of pinky red bits on petal tips.
