Howdy all! I'm Jess and live in SE Texas.

I got interested in orchids about 4 years ago when I was gifted my first orchid after surgery and brought her back from root rot. I'm still learning and have lost several orchids but love them and my goal is to figure it out and finally get one to bloom for me! I definitely have a list of orchids I want to purchase "next" and build up a beautiful collection.

Looking forward to finally stop lurking here and learn from you lovely folks.

:hello Way back when I bought myself my first orchid. Knew nothing but had bit of a green thumb. How difficult could this be, me thinks. Maybe I was ill also...in the head. We all need to start somewhere and many plants later I think I've got my situation where I see results, but still have the occasional loss from poor judgement. It's all good. :roll::((
