Are Lady Bugs beneficial to orchids?

I enjoy having lady bugs in my vegetable garden because they eat aphids and such. What about in my orchid grow room?

Now that the weather has warmed they are coming in through every crack and crevice. Should I try to remove them or let them be?

Let them be. They'll eat aphids and other pests on the orchids too, and certainly do no harm.

They're probably coming in because they smell bugs to eat in there.

They may not do much against existing adult scale, but they should make a quick lunch of the crawler stage, limiting the reproduction and spread.

There is an invasive species that is a relative of the ladybug known as the Asian lady beetle. Harmonia axyridis. I ran across them in Tennessee.
