Recommendations for liquid fertilizer?
Aloha,
I have been using MSU granules for the last year. Often container gets moisture in it and the fertilizer clumps up. Using liquid fertilizer might make sense. Any recommendations? Mahalo, Cathy |
dyna-gro foliage pro works pretty well. a bit lighter on the calcium than MSU but it's been around a long time, its simple and it works.

Make a concentrated solution, then use that!
Here’s a calculator to help you mix it up. Liquid versions of MSU, for example, are just that, and you get to pay for the water, pay for someone to mix it, and the cost to ship the water! |
Hi Cathy, I'm a new poster but long time grower. All the MSU fertilizers I'm aware of are water soluble which you add to water and it makes liquid fertilizer. If you're are worried that the clumping will ruin the fertilizer, don't. It will be fine. Sometimes when my fert is very clumpy, I'll use warm water to help dissolve it faster.
If your MSU fert is formulated to be sprinkled on surface of the mix, I still wouldn't worry about it and just break up the clumps. That's what I think. Good Luck. |
