Too much humidity in my Terrarium?
It's only a few month old. The enclosure in 24"L X 18"D X 18" H. I have an internal fan funning 24/7. I have a 3" round vent near the bottom and a small one near the top. I started using a DIY fogger on a timer that comes on a few times a day. The humidity hardly ever get's below 95% and when the fogger comes on it reaches 99%. Some plants are obviously loving it, maybe all are, hasn't be running this way too long. My 2 mini orchids are elevated so they get a little less direct moisture. No fauna besides pods & springtails. What do you think?

If the plants are happy then rock on
If anything add a period with no moisture and you can let it dry out a bit Aomori plants want to be way all the time, some like to dry a little. Are yours mounted? |
Orchids are mounted but have sphagnum over the exposed roots. Broms are mounted and it looks like one is starting a pup. No fog after sundown.

If they are happy, don’t fix it lol
If you are concerned stop the fog an hour earlier |
Remember, learning rookie. I ran the fogger 4 hours strait this morning. After the fog cleared, every plant in the enclosure looked happier :-) I'm planning to run it more, not less.

FWIW my cloud forest tank does not really ever get below 75-80% RH...and its often about 98%
im a major rookie just kicking my way along mistake to mistake lol |
