Most effective automatic misting system for 60 gallon orchidarium
 

Hi there! I’ve been looking into misting systems for the orchidarium. I’m looking at many different brands, professional and hobbiest, and they all seem similar to me. Is there an automatic misting system that’s preferred in the orchid world? I’m going to want to hook it up to the humidity and temperature gauge as well.

Have a look at Marty’s (the owner of Orchidboard) MistKing systems. I know that quite a few members use the system and have been very satisfied.

I agree, MistKing misting systems work well. The starter kit should be good for you. You will need to make your own reservoir by drilling a hole in something and installing the bung included with the kit. Detailed instructions are included.

It also depends on the style. I use an atomizer to make my clouds and have falling/dripping water as well. No misting but everything stays wet

I've said it many times: Mistking is KING

I've used the same standard MistKing for... guessing... 8 or 10 years? With added nozzles and hose, because I sometimes cover a large area.

Never had one issue with it. Other than figuring out how to set the timer, which is my problem... not the equipment.
