Shame to miss out. I hope he hangs out when he visits to chat with them and make the feel appreciated :)
Real nice flowers. You raised them well |
Eventually there shouldn't be too many summer bloomers as I roll my collection over to be fall- spring bloomers.
Some of these bloom multiple times/year which is fine. Both those Encyclia's are supposed to be spring bloomers but both are on their first bloom so hopefully they'll get into synch. Mostly I like her pics because I'm looking at the overall health of the plants in the background. So far, so good this summer. |
Very nice variety and blooms!
Is it Momilani Rainbow, right? Wonderful ! |

Thanks SP, I'll look into that.
It's possible. I think I recall having difficulty reading the label and never was able to find it online at the time so I was probably guessing. Also interesting is that the colors of that flower above are slightly different than when it bloomed in Feb. this year. I like the summer version (color and shape) much better! 1st pic is Feb. 2nd pic is July |
Very nice colour differences KG! Possibly due to the different temperatures. The petals have spread out very nicely for July.
