There was just one last bud left to open, but I got impatient to take pics :biggrin:

Kokuyo 黒耀 has more or less the same flowers as Seikai but the leaves are very different—stout, but longer than a beanie and are strongly textured. The pedicels are a bit longer as well allowing the flowers to spread out a bit more rather than being bunched together the way they usually are on Seikai. I also find it more willing to bloom for me than Seikai.

Thank you for sharing! This is a lovely plant and one that I look forward to adding to my collection before too long. You mentioned that it's easier to bloom than seikai, does it bloom as readily as most other Neos, or still a bit particular?

I personally find that it blooms about as much as the majority of my others.
