Leave it there and enjoy the multiplicity

Once the roots are 3-4 inches long, you can cut or twist off the keiki and put it in the pot!

I'm with DC on this one... I'm inclined to leave the keiki and let it bloom along with the mother plant - one strong plant with the potential of multiple spikes, rather than two weak ones.
