Emergency repotting of blooming Phalaenopsis amabilis - help!

we bought a Phalaenopsis amabilis from home depot - she looked healthy, but upon examination, her roots looked rotted (soaked in sphag, little or no green, root rot evident on most)

When I went to repot her, I had to cut quite allot off (or so I though) I repotted in her in standard Phal potting media, being extra sure to put in plenty of good drainage on the bottom.

Here's my quandry:
(1) I couldn't bear to cut her blloms - she still has two buds
(2) I had to cut of 70% of her roots
(3) I inadvertently soaked her after potting (she seems quite dry now - not totally, just damp)

Should I leave her be? Or do I bite the bullet and cut her blooms? Thoughts on nutrition (feed for growth, or bloom?)

She has good aeration in her pot.

Thanks!
