Paph. Delenatii in bloom

I thought I would share some pictures of my paph. delenatii double trouble x self. It has been opening over the past couple days, and is absolutely stunning. Take a look at the fuzzy ovary too! Hopefully it will become fragrant soon as well. It seems to really be liking the cool temperatures in my area, as well as the night time temperature drop many of my CPs enjoy.

I did find a small snail in it's bark a couple hours ago. I have only had this plant for a few weeks, so I will bait and check for more. I definitely don't want this beautiful flower to be ruined.

It's truly an outstanding flower. I have an almost identical one in bloom myself. Is your orchid fragrant? I had always heard that these were supposed to smell like roses but mine doesn't.

Thanks everyone! And no mine isn’t fragrant. I’ve noticed some flowers do take a while to become fragrant though, so I’m being patient and holding my fingers crossed!

I have a Paph delanatii in bloom too (sorry no pic) and I just discovered that it is fragrant. Nice surprise for me. I didn't know they were fragrant.
