Cattleya walkeriana- two siblings
Check out these two Cattleya walkeriana siblings with very different flower color! Both are 'Estrela da Colina' x sib that I picked up a few weeks ago at the recent Heart O' Texas Orchid Society show. One is a very dark lavender (I'm hoping for a rubra next year, we'll see) and one is alba. First bloom on both plants.
This is also the same cross as the C. walkeriana in my icon here on OB. I also made a video with more in-depth discussion: Cattleya walkeriana 'Estrela da Colina' x sib- March 22, 2020 - YouTube https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...cfef6929_h.jpgCattleya walkeriana ‘Estrela da Colina’ x sib by Stephen Van Kampen-Lewis, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...b42b6945_h.jpgUntitled by Stephen Van Kampen-Lewis, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ad6b466f_h.jpgUntitled by Stephen Van Kampen-Lewis, on Flickr |
