Free Orchid Books

So, today I was stuck in the office because a NEW greenhouse window is being installed in the kitchen. Nathan and I took the opportunity to clean (purge) a lot of stuff (Nathan supervised from the down comforter in the next room). It's amazing what we save that we never return to!

Anyway, I realize that books have been replaced by the internet but, I have two here that are in very nice shape.
One is the Sunset book of orchids, the other is Orchids Simplified an indoor gardening guide by Henry Jaworski.

If someone would like them, I'll send them if you pay the shipping. And for those who know me NO, I didn't underline or highlight!

Plural. Paper pages with printed information. Bound together. Some of our members have requested them. Probably older members...

Gone.

Ha! Old school triumph! Books live!

Oddly enough, for my work I read lots of books. And even though they're cheaper on Kindle, I still like to feel paper in my hands. So I'm right there with you fishmom.

Now that they have been claimed I can respond without hijacking

I LOVE books. I have soooo many in boxes in my garage and we keep a small bookcase inside that is always rotating among the favorites.

Law school killed my recreational love of reading...they just made me read too much. Too boring.

But books, a well curated pocket of information, a self contained ticket to imagination, limitless in possibility because it is limited to page and ink. No pop ups, no distraction. Books, and a good magizine, any published work where someone else (competent) has curated the subject matter, will always beat the internet, for me

Yay books

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well, except the law school bit.
Got a stack of 7 books ready and waiting to be read on my side table.
