Bulldog paph. Finally blooming

After 2 plus years of growing new fans and leaves my bulldog paph is blooming on 4 fans.

Yesss... Orchids do teach patience, Paphs especially. Their growth pattern is to grow new fans, which then produce roots, and finally it gets around to flowers. This cycle can be three years... as the plant gets bigger, there will be more fans at each stage leading to more regular flowering.

It was just 2 fans with one in bloom when I bought it. The hardest part was seeing new growth at center of fans hoping it was a bud and getting a leaf.

I’m going through this with my bulldogs too. Hopefully, I get flowers next year. I have a few maudae types that produce fans, then flowers, and then roots.
