Blue vanda in bud
 

Hi,
My blue vanda is in bud now. Last year it didn’t bloom as it had a very poor root system but now it feels much better or so it seems and I am excited for its first home bloom. My question is what do I do to make sure it does not blast any of its buds. I soak it daily for at least 30 min in water. Firtilize once a week with 20-10-20 fertilizer diluted to 1/3 strength. My other vanda bloomed a few months ago and a few buds blasted but it had 9 flowers in total that opened up. Just want to make sure it does it’s best. Thanks!

Can't help too much with the bud blast advice. Stress would cause that.
