myrmecophila tibicinis myrmecatavola Frances Fox

I wasn't going to buy any more orchids, but I recently went on an inappropriate spending spree. I bought a Nelly Isler that I doubt will live through the summer, and this myrmecophila tibicinis along with myrmecatavola Frances Fox. All outrageously exquisite blooms, but the myrmecophila tibicinis should be outdoors in a place like Florida, not a hot dry place like Los Angeles! I would like nothing more than to hang it on one of my trees outside, like my Jacaranda, where I have Hostas growing underneath. But I'm afraid that it's too dry. myrmecophila tibicinis gets huge, and I want him to get huge, but I don't think he'll do well in the house. Not at all.

Has anyone grown this guy to his fullest potential in an artificial environment? I have an old swingset out in the back yard, and I'm thinking of throwing some plastic over it to make a make-shift greenhouse, LOL. Should I go for it? What do you all think?
